When I heard that SBS would be televising the Ashes this year, I wondered how they would reconcile cricket with the multicultural requirements of their charter.
So far, they have presented a segment on women's cricket in New Caledonia on "Global Village", screened "Lagaan" as their Sunday night movie, and, er... Bob Downe singing "Howzat" on "Under The Grandstand".
Tomorrow night, Sunday August 21, they are screening "Save Your Legs!", a 52-minute feature described as a "documentary comedy", about the Abbotsford Anglers Cricket Club's tour of India.
It's on at 8.30pm and I think I'm looking forward to this one. Here's the official Save Your Legs! website. It's not on IMdB yet.
